LIVE EVERY DAY provides physical therapy and sports rehabilitation at the Day Hill Dome in Windsor, Connecticut. Our Windsor team helps athletes, active adults, children and older adults recover from injury, improve movement and return to the activities that matter most to them.

Our Windsor location combines experienced clinical care with the space and equipment needed to move beyond traditional clinic-based rehabilitation. Located inside the Day Hill Dome, the office offers access to wide-open training areas where patients can run, jump, lift, change direction and prepare for the demands of everyday life or competitive sport.

Specialized Sports Physical Therapy

Returning an athlete to practice or competition requires more than reducing pain. It requires restoring strength, speed, balance, confidence and the ability to tolerate the demands of the sport. Our Windsor physical therapists can incorporate progressive strengthening, movement assessment, agility, power development and sport-specific activities into rehabilitation. The open environment at the Day Hill Dome allows care to progress from the treatment table to realistic movement and performance. We work with athletes across different ages, experience levels and sports, including young athletes, recreational competitors and adults who simply want to remain active.

Orthopedic Expertise From Head to Toe

Although Windsor offers a distinctive environment for athletes, it is not only a sports clinic. Our physical therapists provide individualized care for people of all ages with orthopedic and movement-related concerns involving the:

  • Neck and back
  • Shoulder, elbow, wrist and hand
  • Hip, knee, foot and ankle
  • Muscles, joints and tendons
  • Balance, walking and mobility
  • Recovery following surgery or injury

Our team includes clinicians with advanced orthopedic training, including Board-Certified Clinical Specialists in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy.

Care Beyond Traditional Physical Therapy

Recovery does not always end when a person completes formal rehabilitation. Through LIVE EVERY DAY’s Limitless programming, appropriate patients may transition into supervised wellness, strengthening and return-to-wellness opportunities. Our broader network also provides access to neurologic rehabilitation, group programming, aquatic therapy through our Granby community partnerships and specialized programs designed around long-term health and mobility. Because Windsor is centrally located among several LIVE EVERY DAY offices, we can connect patients with additional specialists and services across the organization when needed.

A Different Kind of Rehabilitation Environment

The Day Hill Dome provides opportunities that are difficult to reproduce in a conventional treatment room. Depending on the patient’s goals, rehabilitation may include:

  • Running and gait assessment
  • Jumping and landing progression
  • Agility and change-of-direction activities
  • Sport-specific movement
  • Strength and conditioning
  • Return-to-play preparation
  • Functional training for work and recreation

Every program is built around the individual. An athlete returning to soccer, a parent recovering from knee surgery and an older adult working to walk confidently may use the environment differently, but each receives care based on personal goals.
